We asked A&E for a comment and the refused. I believe that they are aware they fell for the scams that Matt Chasen (Founder of uShip) pitched and have too much invested. We have sent this information to Ray LaHood of the DOT as well.

Although this is the wrong thread, it does seem that all of the people here did become legal carriers before the start of filming. A&E NETWORK has no obligation to track if they maintain their status after filming. As long as they were legal during filming then they are covered. The issue here is that for the most part they are carrying private loads in which most customers are not going to check their authority. I don't doubt Jennifer was brought in just for the show. Her background states that she is a former accountant and model. She does seem to have a background in livestock and farm related hauling which is probably why she was chosen. The fact is that you should just get over it.

I've been in Logistics for 30 years, and the first thing I noticed was no seemed to be driving with a log book for hours. No one seemed to take the legal "downtime" after their on duty time.

Ah, the horse.....I couldn't believe that load wasn't tarped to protect the shipment.

Then ther was the running without proper tags

This gives the industry a black eye! It looks like a comedy show"...sad!
