I called Samsung on 4/27, described the problem with my Microwave Oven (5E or SE error code on the control pad). The Samsung agent said that "even though the warranty period has elapsed, Samsung would take care of repairing the subject micro".

I was given a Service Number (ticket number) of 412439**** and told that the repair agent would be at my home on Thursday, April 30th; between 1 and 5 P.M. At approximately 3:45 on the 30th, a person called, said he was the one to repair the micro, and asked me, "who is going to pay for the repair?". To which I said, "that in the conversation I had with Samsung, they indicated that they would be responsible for billing costs". The repair agent then went into a dissertation on the requirement for me to call Samsung and get them to "re-do the work order', so as to provide the Repair company a "concession number" .

Seems to me that if there is a problem with the work order from Samsung, that the Repair Company would contact Samsung to "fix the issue". I think that because I'm old, that I am being "coerced" into doing something that I think should be done by the Repair Company (A&E Factory Services (Hawaii)). I have called the A&E agent that talked to me, told him what I thought, and getting a non-satisfactory "retort" from the person, told him that I was going to develop this "story" and put it on all of the social media available to me. Imagine suggesting that all of the problem(s) involved in the repair of my micro are mine, and the repair company has entirely no involvement in resolving the issue.

Wow, how not so classy and not so helpful of an old man! Will wait 2 days for your response.

Good review. My story is identical to yours, except my appointment is for July 18.

I will raise ***, if A and E tries to charge me! Thanks for the head's up.
