Lack of Service. Tech showed up one-month after service request

A leak was discovered in the water heater tank during my annual service. Since my unit was still under warranty my service company suggested I notify Sears who sold me the unit and has the warranty. I called them and was given an appointment one month away. Today a service rep from A&;;;;;;;;;;;;;E showed up (on time) examined the problem and told me it would be six weeks before he could return to replace the faulty tank. He indicated that he was the only service tech in this area for the company and was booked for the remainder of the year. This is happening at the start of the winter when the temperature tonight is predicted for 49-degrees. Six weeks hence will place me in the dead of winter. Do not recommend Sears who uses this company or this company which does not have adequate staffing to reply to service calls.

I have a Kenmore Elite that is an LG. It's a 2017 french door 30cu ft. (Biggest market had at time Original tag $3600 I bought on sale) fridge broke July 26, 2020 and it's not repairable. 4/4/21 and it's still sitting in my kitchen 6/2021. Repair techs claim they can't put Sears master protection and claim unrepairable or need replacement according to their supervisor. They all refused to get her on phone while here.

User's recommendation: Stay away from Sears and their overpriced warranty.

They suck

They are terrible. Two days in a row they did not show up for a scheduled appointment between 1 and 5. The weather was fine. The appt was confirmed via text and email both days. No one called, no one messaged, no one arrived. When I called customer service all they said was "sorry for the inconvenience." They did not really care. And they offered no assistance. They could not ell me why no one showed up. They could not promise that someone WOULD ever show up. I told them that they should be ashamed to work for such a terrible company and provide such terrible service and that they should go find a job at a decent reputable company. There are plenty of repair services out there - use anyone else but these people.

Failure to honor warrenty

After rescheduling, service tech was very professional. told us would be back in 3 weeks if part was available. got letter that parts were no longer available and sending a check for 25% of retail value. never received check and they now pass the buck. transferred 7 times. then they hung up.

User's recommendation: do not purchase warranty plan from Assurant affiliate nor A&E / Sears /.

Horrible Waste of Time

Complete waste of time. Old lazy guy shows up after waiting a week and his only goal was to establish why he couldn't fix the refrigerator. No effort to do anything. This person was a waste of human existence. Why bother having a company, hiring and sending the laziest person alive.

Terrible Service

The first words the tech asked was do we have a service contract and if we dont you need one and then tried to sell us one. Then during the diagnostics procedure he broke off screws. Then to,d us to fix the igniter for one burner on a stove would cost more than $450. We said no and directed the stove be put back together. We were not aware that several screws were broken and the tech put the stove back together without replacing them.

Awful Customer and Repair Services

Technician did not ask for circuit breaker to wall oven/microwave to be turned off prior to attempting to remove the broiler element of the oven. Almost set fire to the house. After determining the element was unusable, as is the entire oven, repair man says he's ordering a new broiler element and set up an appointment for repair. Element did not arrive; service appointment automatically canceled. Attempts to contact customer service ridiculously frustrating. Between hold times up to 30 minutes then being disconnected by customer (dis)service representative we have no resolution to issue. FYI - product covered under an extended service contract - for what good that does!!

Fridge repair

I wanted to replace my ice-maker that still works great sent the tech packing gave him back the new ice maker that was never installed still charged me 99.00 for a house call. Why should I pay a service call when he did nothing. Refuse to pay a service call. Did nothing for my problem.

Horrible service

LG placed a call with A&E. They gave me an appointment which I took the day off. Then A&E didn't show, no phone call. I called A&E and LG and they said it would be over a week before they can get out. I have a refrigerator and freezer completely out. Waiting a week and a half is not acceptable.

I had a technician named Suzanne K. who came to my home, scratched my new wood floors and then lied to me about the document I signed stated that she was admitting to scratching the floors. After she left, I received the document and learned that it said that the scratches were pre-existing. The woman lied directly to my face and now I have scratches on my floor forever because of her.

I want the woman fired for deceitful practices. I further want her to rescind the document and write a statement indicating that she lied so I can get my flooring repaired.

Don't have A&E repair applainces

A&E was scheduled to come fix my refrigerator Jan. 15th my Appt. was 12pm -5pm they called me at 3:15pm told me my Appt. had been cancelled because they over scheduled.They wanted me to wait until Jan. 23rd I asked if there was anything sooner they said Jan.16th 10am-2pm I said ok the technician came said they were given wrong model # couldn't fix it today . Next appt. Jan 23rd was emailed tech. was on the way 2:20 I called asking where are they was told should be there at 3:00pm I thought the tech emailed me at 3:30pm but it was someone else at 5:00pm I called again asking where is the tech. didn't call or show up again cancelled with no notice my next appt. is Jan. 30 12pm -5pm don't ask if this works for me or not so this will be the 3rd time I have to take off work shouldn't they be paying me because I have to take off work and then they don't show up.
